I read it on a different board but the poster said if you call the retauraunt themselves you can make ressies 180 days before? I am going to find that post I know it had to do with the T-Rex rest in DTD

No, that has to go through Disney Dining, to the best of my knowledge. The reason you can call T-Rex and Rainforest directly is that they are not run by Disney and are not on the Disney Dining Plan.

T-Rex is not owned by Disney. You can call them direct and get a reservation.

Not sure if it's 180 days or not, but I know I made my ressie for Sept. 15 at T-Rex directly with the restaurant at 100+ days.

T-Rex takes reservations 6 months out. However, they DO NOT take same day reservations (like calling at noon for dinner at 6).
I believe Rainforest is the same.

Another one that can be booked directly prior to the 90 day mark is Raglan Road. It can be booked through Disney Dining, unlike t-Rex, but you can also make reservations on their website earlier.

Is that just for the Rainforest in DTD or can you call directly before 90 days for the one at AK also??
