Had oiginally planned Dec 20th to 27th in HRH Universal book hotel and buy Orlando Flex tickets, followed by 2 weeks in the BC, tickets and DDP. But now with the free dining plan I think this is the best, any opinions (other suggestions)?

20th to 27th in HRH, Florida combo ticket which includes Uni and WDW
27th to 1st in BC no tickets, no DDP, pay OOP for meals
1st to 10th BC, tickets and free DDP

This is the best way I can think of doing it. I wish Disney would just give the free DDP for the relevant days when your booked before but stay during the offer. Would save my poor old brain ;)

Ahhhh, I see you are receiving the offer for "Across the Pond". While it may tax your brain a bit, I believe this plan will work best. Here, we don't have the same ticket option. How long are the tickets for?

That's part of the problem. We can only buy either 7 or 14 day tickets, so it's a bit over the top (and costly) for the first part of the stay. So the combo ticket will cover our first 5 days (with the added bonus that we could even pop over from Universal before the 27th). Then buy our 'normal' tickets for the 2nd part.

Does anyone know if the Orlando Flex ticket for Universal allows park hopping between the 2 parks?
