Anyone ever seen this? Know if it's real or not?

I've never seen it. It doesn't look obviously altered, but it must be faked somehow. The elevator is actually still and not dropping when they take the picture, isn't it? :confused3

That's what I was thinking - isn't the photo taken at the top (where the window opens)?

That and the fact that no one's hair is flying up and a guy is managing to stay standing.

I've heard it's fake. Some of the people don't even look like they're falling.

They take the picture right as you drop. At least, that's been my experience. I think they take the picture at different times depending on how your ride is "programmed," but I've definitely been on the ride when it took the picture as we were dropping.

I saw the picture online, and I say it's probably fake. Those 3 people in the back probably just left an empty seat, posed like that for the picture, and then photoshopped the "flying" person in later.

I bet that my expression is much like the lady with the black t-shirt when I'm on this thing. I hate falling.

I vote for fake. It's a fun picture though.

I voted fake. The people don't seem to fit. Some people look like they are on a ride and some look like they are just sitting there.

I realize everyone reacts differently but this was a bit too fake to seem real!

The lady in blue's bangs are straight down. Unless she uses a Beiber amount of hairspray, they'd be up.

And the dad and son with the Jaws t-shirts look like they're watching TV or playing a video game.

It's faked.

The women's hair and whatever is on the shoulder of the person in the back left have barely moved. If the ride vehicle had moved so far/fast to send a person flying to the ceiling, those loose items would have moved more.

I say fake because I think that photo would never have come up for sale at Disney. They veto photos with rude gestures, and topless women, so they would not have released this one.

I didn't even notice the rude gesture! I'm so observant. ;)

wow, good point!!

(as are the rest of your posts...I didn't think about the hair not flying. LOL)

This really gave me an idea too...Is there a thread with on-ride photos anywhere? I would love looking at ride pics, they are fun!

Fake. I agree that the picture is taken while the car is at a stop, just before it goes down.

I've also just compared it with four of my TOT photos here in my office and yes, nothing is standing on end.

I do have a real picture of my and my niece applying make-up in the picture, so you CAN get away with silly poses.

Oh! You meant the guy flying in the back! I thought you were reffering to the girl in white's "assets".;)

I went googling for more ride photo sites and found an article on the KTLA website saying that they no longer screen photos in Disneyland or California Adventure.
