Is This Legit?

I received an email today from Disney Vacation Club. I am not a DVC owner but I entered Disney’s Riviera Resort sweepstakes a while back, and the email says it is a “thank you” for entering. It also requests that I take a “phone tour” of the new Riviera Resort. If I do, I’ll receive a $25 Disney gift card eGift.

DH and I would like to be DVC members someday, but we know it’s not for us now. I’m wondering if this is legit? I have no problem taking a “phone tour” if it means I’d get a Disney gift card. It would be great to have for our next Disney trip.

I’m curious about what a phone tour would be? I know whatever it is, it’s a sales pitch. I have no problem resisting a sales pitch. DVC isn’t in our budget with kid #1 heading to college in a year. 😅 If this is legit, I’d gladly sit through a pitch to get a gift card.

Any info anyone has about this would be awesome. Thank you!

It is legit, and they really aren't pushy. They'll just explain how DVC works, the resorts, answer your questions. In all likelihood, someone will call you back eventually just to touch base, see if you have any further questions, but that's about it

@LSchrow thanks! This is helpful. I can definitely sit through a DVC pitch phone call, if it means I have a gift card coming for our spring break trip!
