Is this going to be okay?

Hey everyone,

We finally decided to make a trip to Orlando!

I haven't been to Disney World since 1979!! My family consists of me, hubby, and my two boys, ages 5 and 6. We've been to Disney Land a ton since we lived in AZ previously. We've always stayed at the park when we go to DL and had planned on doing the same at WDW, but we found out we can stay free at Fairfield Inn & Suites in the Marriott Village. We just booked it over spring break week (I know, a terrible time to go, but it's all we can fit in!) and we'll be there six nights. I have NO info about the hotel at all, but it's free. I know it's about a mile to the park!

Can anyone share anything at all about the hotel?? Thanks so very much!

You should check out TripAdvisor.com. There are lots of reviews for most places there. Otherwise, try the Search feature here, sometimes it works, other, good luck.

I'm from the UK so I'm far from an expert but this hotel is being offered by a big British tour operator ( Virgin Holidays) and I've been considering it for a trip in 09.The Fairfield Inn LBV is near to the parks. There is a shuttle to Disney for none drivers. I think a continental breakfast is included. There is a small foodcourt with pizza and burgers etc. There are a couple of restaurants at least, within walking distance, I think Golden Coraal and Bahama Breeze?It is in a complex with a marriott springhill suites and a marriott courtyard. You can use the facilities at all three hotels.The site is totally none smoking. This Fairfield gets decent reviews on tripadvisor.com. You can look there for additional info, photos etc. I think it is probably fairly basic but safe, clean and conveniently situated. Have fun

I don't that particular Fairfield Inn, but that brand is on the low end of the Marriott chain, but I don't mean that in a negative way - it's just not top of the line Marriott. Fairfield Inns are very good basic hotels, not fancy but they still have to meet the relatively high Marriott standards.

The Fairfield Inn in the Marriott Village has a really great location. I think that you will be happy with it, particularly at that price!
