is this arrival lunch reservation time realistic?

newbie here and arriving sunday april 18. not ez to get any reservations so lucky to get them on open table for big river grille at boardwalk

arriving mco 830. assume get on the bus by 930 and arrival at contemporary to drop luggage by 1030. i have 1215 at big river /boardwalk and figured i take the monorail to ttc then a bus to boardwalk

realistic?

another weird thing is open table lists big river at 2101 North Epcot Resort Boulevard which is what disney says it is.. but the restaurant is not on the list of not available reservations on the disney site. im used to seeing booked up places marked NA. and i know the boardwalk hotel is closed but im assuming the restaurants are open

I think time wise you look fine. However I Suggest a walk to MK bus loop and bus to BWV’s. I don’t think you can bus TTC to BWV. Enjoy!

^^^This Is probably the quickest approach using Disney transport.

Alternate approach, bus from Contemporary to the Studios and walk to the BW. If you’re running early, you could take the Skyliner from the Studios to Epcot and walk from there, but that involves a change at the Caribbean Beach station, so you need the extra time.

I was about to make the same suggestion - that’s the best way to do it.

TTC does not have resort buses. Either walk to MK bus depot take bus to Boardwalk or get HS bus at CR and using the walking trail to boardwalk . I would not bother with Skyliner since there’s no direct line between HS and Epcot you have to go back to CBR from HS line then get on longer Epcot line. Way quicker to walk from HS bus area.

Having them on Open Table means that if your flight is late or something else makes you unable to keep the reservation, you can cancel that morning (or even no-show, if worse comes to worst) without penalty.

It hasn’t been open very long so hasn’t made it back onto MDE.

Yes; the DVC side of the resort is open, so buses are running.

Each bus is assigned to a certain hub, those being any one of the parks or Disney Springs. They can go to any destination from that hub.
