My dh and I are staying in a studio for our Dec trip. I bought a small (6x6) electric skillet to make eggs in. Is this okay to use??

I dont see why not. My SIL always makes her eggs in the microwave.

Have fun! You could do several things with an electric skillet couldn't you. I love grilled cheese and that's where my mind initially went to.

Where did you find an electric skillet that small -- sounds wonderful to take on a studio trip? I guess I haven't looked hard enough, but haven't come across one.

we found a single burner at cvs on time. Picked it up for under $20. Have used it several times in the studio. Just the burner meant we have pans in our owners locker, and well the burner is in it too.

grilled cheese sounds good I will have to remember that. I found the skillet on Home depots website. It costs 21.20 (that includes shipping) Its really small so I should be able to pack it. I wish I could talk my dh into OL but he is not convinced yet it is worth it
