Is this a good price for 8 nights at Poly in Feb?

Hi all,

I have never booked through a TA before as I normally just book myself through Disney. Since I have been waiting for the 2017 discounts to be released, I decided to check with a TA that I think people have talked about using, I know I cannot say the name. My dates are over Presidents day due to school vacation and I was quoted $5300 for 8 nights with 8 day park hoppers for a standard room at the Poly. I'm thinking that I won't be able to beat that price but am not sure? The current "rack rate" for this comes out to $7300 when I price it out. So, do I book what I was quoted through TA or is it possible that this rate could be beat when discounts come out? I'm still nervous about even booking through a TA since I never have. ALSO, people who have posted about this TA (at least I think this is the company they are referring to) sometimes talk about insane discounts and I'm thinking that wont happen for a popular week like a school vacation week right? What do you think of this price?

I don't think anyone can tell you whether this is a good deal or not without knowing how many park hopper passes, and whether any of those are for children?

Could you break it out into room rate & ticket cost? It's an expensive week due to school vacation and the Disney Princess Half Marathon event that runs from Thursday 2/23 until Sunday 2/26. I was quoted by that agency $1791 for 2/23-2/27.

The TA I use will apply any Disney discounts that come out after I book with her if they are better than the agency rate.
