Hey y'all! happy Friday!

we will be on DDP for the first time in September and i was wondering if it will be smart to pay OOP for kid's meals and have an adult use that credit later. I know that a child can order off the adult menu but my niece is on a chicken nuggets and mac & cheese diet.:teeth:

I plan on doing this at BOG dinner and all quick service meals.

At BOG dinner, keep in mind that the credit sounds like a Child Credit. A Child TS credit can ONLY be used for a child meal at TS.

I guess you can, but we didn't want to have to spend money, ha. There are adult sized chicken nugget meals at many many quick service places. We ordered adult sized meals for our kids and had them share. But yes, you can save them if you want to.

when we broke down our free dining reservation, we only ended up paying $18x for DDP. so i don't mind the $6-$10 here and there. i just might order the adult chicken nuggets and eat whatever is left:rolleyes1

Thank you, i was under the impression credits weren't assigned to adults/children.

On the basic DDP, table service (TS) credits are indeed broken down by adult/child. Snack credits, counter service (CS) credits, and all credits on the deluxe plan are "pooled".

On the DELUXE plan (3 TS meals per night) they are not broken down, but on the REGULAR plan (1 TS, 1 QS, 1 snack), they are differentiated.

I apologize. I misread the OP's post and thought she said they were on Deluxe. Now I see that she just said DDP. Sorry about that.
