I got AKL standard conceige for 7 nights Dec 15-21, with dining and 4 day hoppers for $4321.38, for 2 adults and 2 kids 11 and 12. I think it averages out to be close to 217.00 for the room. I think this is good deal for what I am getting, what do you think?

We normally pay around 6000 for poly concierge for 7 nights w/ park hoppers, so, yes, i think that's a very good deal.

How did you arrive at the $217 per night? When I did the math, it appeared to be closer to $317 per night. I could be missing something, though.

Even at $317 per night, it sounds like a good deal for concierge!

Uggggh, maybe I made a mistake

4321 total

4 day hoppers for 4 (adults) 1088
dining plan 7 nights 1092

305/ night, oppsie sorry I guess it isn't as good as I thought:confused: That is the price with tax included, so if it is normally 325 plus 14.5 % tax, I guess I did okay.

I think you got a really good deal.:thumbsup2

Your going to have a fantastic trip! Do they still to the special tours?

I am
I went to the disney site and plugged in your info.
Dec. 15-21
4 adults (2adults/2children ages 11 and 12)
4 day hoppers
dinning plan
AKL Standard Club

It came up with $4177 without code or $3853 for the "fall speical" code
It also said this was for 6 nights/7days ... in your post you said 7 nights.
(These were quotes with out travel insurance)

Then I pluged in the 15-22 which would actually be 7 nights/8 days and came up with $4699 with no code and no standard club rooms for the "fall special" code ... that means really no rooms for the night of the 21st.

Is your quote for $4321 for 6 or 7 nights ... with or with out the fall code ... with or without the travel insurance ????

Bronte,
Sorry to be so confusing! I arrive on the 15th and depart on the 22nd. 7 nights with dining, no insurance, with the code ZQH (that what is says on my confirmation) 4 day hoppers for 2 adults and 2 kids 11 and 12. So did I get a bad deal then? It sure cost so much more then when my kids were under 9 yrs old.

HappyFlower ...
Sounds like a good deal to me ... your saving about $378 with the code.
What is an even greater deal is that you got a standard club room ... I have been trying to switch my pool view bunk to a standard club room for months now but there is no availability with my code (40% pin offered last Jan/Feb.)
You are going to have such a GREAT TIME … AKL during the holidays plus Club Level … You must be on :cloud9:

Perhaps we shall see you out and about … We will be at the AKL Dec. 19-29 :santa:

Edit ... Yes, when the kids get to be "adults" everything jumps ... tickets and dining but then again taking older kids to disney is such a great trip ... my DD's are now 12 & 14 and they love Disney (we took them to six flags this year and they hated it ... they were "o.k." with SeaWorld but they said they really only want to goto Disney.)

Thanks!

Yeah, maybe we run into each other. I know the days before the last day we will be doing nothing but hanging out at the resort to relax by the pool. Well I will be relaxing anyways! :rotfl:

I am really excited about staying around the holidays. I will be home just in time for X-mas, so it will be crazy for me to get everything done for X-mas before the trip. Plus get ready for the trip and the worst I have finals before the trip. In fact I leave for FL the day of my last final. :scared1:

You are going to love disney during the holidays ... plus you get some days in "before" the big crowds come. I wish we could go sooner but we are already taking our kids out of school for three days.
We did a very short trip two years ago and loved it. Make sure you do the lights at MGM, the processional at Epcot, see the holiday decorations at the deluxe resorts and if you can MVMCP (we are going the 20th.)

Did you make you ADR's yet ???

(P.S. I did my student teaching at ISU just three weeks after my first DD was born ... talk about planning :rotfl: )

It sounds like a great deal. IMO I would change to 7 or 8 day PH. There's not much difference in cost.

Hmmm. I didn't know that about the ticket prices. I wonder how much it would cost if I got noexpiring ones for 8 days. The reason we only got 4 was because we wanted to have 2 days of rest and to hang out at the lodge!

Then get the bounce back offer too and yippee more fun! ;-)

The no expiration is a possibility too but don't get them if they offer the bounceback. You would have to buy tickets again to qualify for that. I wouldn't add the no expiration option until you are there. You do not save any money adding it to your package before you arrive.
