Hi. On my never-ending search for in a hotel I’m looking at The Anaheim Hotel. I thought I’d look with booking with Disney. On the website for my dates they have a deluxe room which has two king beds and that is approximately $700 cheaper than a standard room which has two queen beds. What am I missing?

To clarify. The prices are for 6 nights with 5 day park tickets for 4 adults.

For those prices, you could nearly stay on-site! What are your qualifications for choosing a hotel?

You're looking way too far in advance. The hotel hasn't released it's real prices and is overpricing for people who want to plan far in advance. You'll get more accurate prices six months out but they tend to be cheapest about 3 months out with a chance of them dropping again about one month out. Booking through Disney is also usually more expensive than just booking through the hotel directly and buying tickets separately. If you book through the hotel website, you'll be able to get a better cancellation policy and access to savings such as AAA discounts if you are a member.

But the lower price works out $160 a night. Is that over priced for The Anaheim?

Still would love to know why the deluxe is cheaper than the standard?
