I ended up in the hospital last week with some -ahem- stomach & bladder problems. The doctor gave me a tentative colitis diagnosis. I haven’t been officially diagnosed with anything, because I haven’t been able to get in to see the specialist yet.
But my current biggest symptoms are bathroom urgency and frequency and fatigue. I leave for Disney in 15 days. Because this is all so new I’m still trying to figure out how to manage it. I’ll be at Disney during the opening of GE and just thinking about how long the lines will be is giving me anxiety. It’ll also be hot, which means I’ll need to hydrate, which will make the frequency issue worse. I was planning on not doing any rides with more than a 20+ minute wait, but I doubt there will be any that short.
One of my friends just mentioned that I should get the DAS pass so I can use the bathroom and sit down instead of waiting in line for potentially over an hour. But I feel guilty even considering it, because like I said, I don’t have a “real” diagnosis yet. Would getting a pass be scamming the system or is this a valid reason to get one?
