I feel bad even asking this but my dh is a big guy. He has said before he doesn't want to go to DW unless he looses weight but I don't want to cancel! We haven't gone in 8 years. I wish he would try harder bc I want him to enjoy himself and not feel self conscious. We are going in Nov.

I am not aware of any specific weight limits for rides. As PP mentioned, some seating may not fit or be comfortable, and any safety features (harness, bars) must engage. Depending on his size, those may or may not be an issue; I have read reports that WDW is more accommodating in that regard than other theme parks. There is a thread about pooh-sized...I'll see if I can find it for you.

Enjoy your vacation!

My husband is 5'8 and weighs about 300 pounds. He has been able to ride every ride at Disney.

One member of my family is 6'4" and was just over 400 lbs. He fit on everything. A couple things are uncomfortable (Dumbo is miserable, but the Aladdin carpets are fine) but he *can* ride everything. There was one ride at DCA that had a weight limit, IIRC, but I don't believe it exists at WDW.

Some rides have test cars that he can try. You can ask the cm at the end of the line where it is. That way he can try out the ride seat before waiting in line and avoid it if he isn't comfortable

Wow ok that's really good to know. Dh is 5'11'' around 325 lbs. I figured if there are certain rides that are small we can avoid them or I can go and he can stay with our 2 yo. He won't even go to Six Flags and has trouble on some amusement park rides. He was probably like 225 or so last time we went.

I AM 5'6 and was 330 last time we went. I was more worried about the plane ride then the rides. I think space mountain was small but not by girth more leg room. He should be fine. Not a lot of over the head harnesses and Rockin Rollercoaster is pooh sized :)

Thanks for this!

My hubby is 7 feet tall and was able to go on everything except Space Mountain. He has extremely long legs, but is thin. We haven't been to Epcot together though. And we haven't done the 7 dwarf mine train ride, which sounds like it might be a problem for him.

Yeah, that will likely be a one-and-done for him. My guys top out at 6'4" and 6'2" (but still growing) and they were both unhappy about leg room on that one.
