My husband and I have been married for six years on July 6th this year. We've always spent our anniversary at the summer camp we met at on July 3rd, 2001, and that has been wonderful. But, I would love to spend one of our major anniversaries like maybe our 10th, or 20th at Disney World. Is there some type of anniversary package that couples can get/book? We've done Disney World lots of times with friends, and family, and I think it would be pretty special getting to celebrate our anniversary there.

Can't say I've ever seen a specific Anniversary package. They should still have buttons, at a minimum "Happily Ever After" or "I'm Celebrating", but that's about it. Outside of weddings, which are vastly different things than most other celebrations, I've only seen vow renewals, which are like "Weddings Lite". Now many people do vow renewals for their milestone anniversaries, so it's not like that is terribly out of the question.

Outside of maybe booking a vow renewal, you can definitely make your anniversary special. Something like a fireworks cruise, a couples massage, dinner at V&A's, etc, etc. Upgrade your normal accommodations a bit, maybe even splurge for deluxe concierge. Or really splurge and look into the Platinum dining package. Yes it's a 3 night minimum at a deluxe, and $240 per person, but it includes 3 meals a day (V&A included!) as well as pretty much any activity on property except for going into the park. La Nouba, Spa treatments, most of the tours, golf, parasailing, etc. That's a really nice experience that most people don't do.

No, nothing like that, not even for honeymoons. We honeymooned at WDW and have gone back for out anniversary each year (except this year actually). But there are TONS of romantic things to book and do. If you have the bucks you can stay in one of the honeymoon suites in GF as well.

Celebrating your anniversary at WDW is a great idea  As the PP said - you could plan a VR (we did one with the Memories package) - it was the most romantic thing we've done ( it was just the two of us) - If you want to include family and friends - I'd say that a Wishes fireworks cruise would be great - if you want to do it up big - then reserve the Grand 1 Yacht (holds up to 17 I think) - hubby and I did this also as a part of our VR to end the day - :thumbsup2

Take a look at the DFTW web site and get some ideas - Good luck and have fun planning :cool1:

Thanks everyone. Has anyone ever celebrated their wedding anniversary at Disney World before? My husband and I were thinking that if we ever go back to Disney World again. We'd want to stay at the Old Key West resort again through our friend's timeshare. We stayed there the last time we went to Disney World, and had a lot of fun. I loved Old Key West, and so did he. It was 100% better than the All-Star Movies/Music resorts that we've stayed at with my mom when she took us to Disney World. We liked the All-Star Movies/Music resorts that we stayed in. But, we loved having not to go out to eat at the different restaurants all of the time. Although we did have breakfast reservations at the Crystal Palace one day, and dinner reservations at Boma the other day.

The funniest thing on our trip was the "bird alarm" that we heard on the first morning we were there. It almost sounded like a fire alarm. When we asked the front desk about it. They said it was a type of bird that was native to the state.

To this day, we still laugh over the bird alarm whenever we talk about our trip. Our friend was with us on that trip along with her daughter who is my best friend, and they both laugh along with us.

We just celebrated our 10th anniversary and took our 7 year old twins on their first trip in August. We stayed in a Royal Room at POR and had a wonderful time. We received anniversary pins at check-in and had many well wishes throughout our trip.
