is there still 'pal mickey'?

hi. i'm planning a trip with my 5yo son with pdd-nos. an older guidebook talked about pal mickey perhaps being a nice toy for someone who seeks stimulation - but the threads i find on here mentioning pal mickey are also older. is he still offered? do you have to get one at the parks? (in other words, they aren't sold online or in disney stores?) if pal mickey has taken his bow, what has taken his place?

We saw a little girl with one of these when we were in Animal Kingdom in May. I was so intrigued that I had to ask her mother about it. She said that they no longer offer Pal Mickeys in retail shops, and that they got theirs a few years ago. HOWEVER, she said that they were probably available on ebay or Amazon, and that most of the information that Pal Mickey gives will still be current for many years. I would definitely say try looking on either of those websites...and let me know if you turn up anything!!

We just have to remember to get him updated when we arrive at the front of the parks.

I would love to see them make a "Duffy" one.

I still have mine and used it during my CP and it worked for the most part but in some areas of the parks he kinda went haywire and wouldn't vibrate. I would check Ebay for one that's used. He's bunches of fun when he does work for me!! Best of luck on your search.

Our pal is my avatar. We love him! He is only available on ebay now though. Apparently he wasnt very popular.

He was heavy for some little ones and I remember people having lots of complaints about him. I guess he talked alot, lol.---Kathy
