Is there somewhere with the square footage numbers for all the hotels?

I was talking to my mom about DVC after I bought and I mentioned that I have a studio for my Jan. trip and she made a comment about them being small. She seemed surprised when I told her they are the size of a normal hotel room (she has had 4 adults in one room before so us having two in a studio should be fine).

So now I'm wondering about the sizes of all the different rooms and where the studios fall in comparison to normal resort rooms.

I recently looked into these figures as well. I did not compare non-Disney hotels. I checked the DVC News, The Unofficial Guide to WDW, the MS website (it used to show square footages) and one other site, but I can't remember which one. All of the DVC studios are larger than a value or moderate resort at WDW. However, some of the Deluxe rooms at the attached resorts to a DVC resort are larger than the DVC studio. BLT is the most extreme.

Regular WDW resort rooms:

Value resort rooms - 260 square feet

Moderate resort rooms - 314 sq. ft.

However, I do know that moderate regular hotel rooms off property are now larger than a typical DVC studio. But a location on Disney property still preferable. There's nothing like staying on property.
