Is there somewhere on the DIS to ask about info on Gulf Shores?

We are going to Gulf Shores, AL in October and are looking for a condo for 6, preferable beachfront. Is there anyone who could give me a review on any condos you may have stayed in here?

Just be sure to pay attention to where the condo actually is. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are about a mile and a half apart, but Fort Morgan is about 20 minutes away. Perdido is right across the state line from Orange Beach, and it's only about two minutes away..

I love Gulf Shores...don't forget to go to the Flora-Bama!

We are blessed to have an aunt who lets us use her condo (and it's only 2 bedroom) so I can't give you advice there, but don't miss eating at The Original Oyster House.

The food is always good, they have a nice kids' menu, and there's a playground They are in a little shopping center with some really cool shops, too. OOoh, we are going in August - I can't wait!

Also, October should be a great time to shop the outlets in Foley (only about 10 miles up the road - you will pass them on your way down). We always stock up on clothes for the girls there.

Here is another vote for the BeachClub. All condos have balconies that face the Gulf. There is a spa, heated inside pool, workout room. The massages are wonderful. The only thing I did not care for was the food at the restaurant. However, you have to try one of their Pina Coladas. To die for!
