Doesn't really annoy me but does make me laugh when someone titles a thread "Has anyone ever stayed at (insert any disney resort)" I always want to respond "no, you will be the first".

What color is your dog? What color is your hair? What are you wearing right now? What color is your house? What kind of car do you drive? What color is your car? Where are you from? What kind of fruits do you like? What are you eating right now? What color is your food? What color is your shoes? How many miles do you drive to work? etc. etc. etc.

I don't mind these half as much as the ones that turn INTO these buddy buddy clique threads! It starts out with a basic statement or question, then all of a sudden I'm in the middle of "how are you's" and "how was that dinner last night" and private jokes that I'll NEVER GET!

oh, and my OTHER pet peeve? People who post every single aspect of their lives!

My arm just fell off...

Those folks need Twitter. You can submit info there every minute, every second - but are only limited to 140 characters per message.

Only two things really but I don't stress over them.
First, when you add something to a thread but it seems to be invisible to everyone else since they keep talking without acknowledging what you've just said.
Second, clicks...I don't know how many are still around on the DIS but I've been known to avoid certain boards because of it.

Hi, My name is Mandy. My in-laws just bought my family of 4 plane tickets to Myrtle Beach in June. They also are paying for our lodging in a 3 bedroom ocean front condo. They treat us to a 3 day ski vacation every year in January. No flames from me, but it does happen!! They don't treat us to a Disney vacation, because they don't like Disney. However it does allow us to save all our vacation money for Disney. Now you can add one more person to your count.

As people have already mentioned the search function on here is really bad. That bothers me. Also the fact that I'll want to go online for a few minutes and I wind up surfing the dis for 2 hours. Where does the time go?

Yes but are you posting on the BB how you can't feed your family, the lights have been turned off, you have 12 kids, your dog is sick, you are filing bankruptcy, you are on public assistance, the car died, neither you or your dh have a job, and then when people suggest perhaps the trip isn't a good idea you rage about how it was a gift and you deserve it?

THAT is what makes me nuts. Not the gift trip persay, it is the alleged gift trip when you can't even provide for your family and then all these people blow pixie dust up their butt and agree that "yeah, you deserve a trip" blah blah blah. So what if you have no food to eat when you get back. Go to Disney!!!

I am sorry but I have to stay away from those threads because I have nothing pixie dustish to say.

If I had to pick something, it would be a thread title that doesn't give an indication of what the thread is about. "What should I do about......" open it up and then, "my slippers shrinking". It might be a thread that I would never open if that was in the title. Repeat threads? That doesn't bother me. I know what they are about and may or may not open them.

I hate "teaser subjects" too! I now "hover" over the subject if it looks like it *might* be interesting and the first couple of lines show up in a little preview box. I try not to open "teaser subjects" since I figure that if they really have something important to say they would make it clear in the subject.

What really annoys me on the DIS is when people come on and post something that someone else already said, like, an hour ago! I mean, don't they read what's already been posted? Maybe they're just trying to boost their post count or something
