Is there room for an air mattress in the studio rooms???

I have been reading the posts regarding the sleep sofas and how they are not very comfortable. I was wondering if you chose not to open the sofabed in a studio room and instead placed an air mattress on the floor for our 2 children if there would be enough room to walk around it?? Thanks

Yes, under those circumstances there would be sufficient room. But not if you open the sofa bed unless you put the air mattress in the kitchen/Bath area.

We have always stayed in a studio and have had no complaints about the sofa bed. It is much better than your average sofa bed.

You didn't mention where you were staying - but last time we were at VWL, we had a 'dedicated' studio. It had no connecting doors to another unit. It had two closets and a bit of extra room in the 'living' area. There would be plenty of room for a floor mattress, without the sofa being opended. It was room #1514.

Which resort are you staying at? At OKW the studio has two queen sized beds, no sleep sofa. The others have a bed plus a pull out, but looks like they would be tight if you used a air matress instead. We have used an air bed when the bedding didn't match the sleepers. For instance, two teen kids of opposite sex who can't share a bed. etc.

We stayed in a BCV studio. We had a single Aerobed on the floor and the Sofa open. It was tight but doable.

We used a queen air mattress at both the VWL and HH. We opened the couch and put the mattress on the couch, worked great.

I didn't think the sofa beds were that bad either. It's definitely not bad enough to warrant bringing an air mattress in my opinion.

We just did the same thing at the BCV in August. We slid the sofa over an inch or two to the wall/balcony door, and the mattress fit fine.

We've squeezed an aerobed into a Vero Studio, with one teen on the sofa bed and the other on the aerobed. It was very tight, but for 5 days between Christmas and New Years at Vero, it was well worth the inconvenience. We also have done this in a BWV studio.

We take the mattress off the pull-out couch, and put IT on the floor. The kids find it better that way!

I've slept on the sleeper sofas at OKW, BWV and BCV. They were all good. Much better than the one I used to have.

I've slept on the sofa mattress at BCV with a little one and it was fine. I think 2 adults or older kids might be a tad uncomfortable. An aerobed woudl be good in thsi situation. I'm sure it woudl fit closer up by the door.
We used a single aerobed recently at AKL. My father flew down for a couple days and we planned on putting one of my girls (5 & 2) on the aerobed, but they fought over it and my Dad ended up on it. He thought it was quite comfortable. Very easy, too.

We have 2 raised aerobeds. They are as comfortable as a real bed. When we are in the 2 bedroom the babies are in the master on the queen size bed. As I do not like them in the other room with acess to an outside door. In a 1 bedroom When its just myself and the boys I want everyone in the master, So I bring the twinsize for my middle son. I highly recommend the raised beds over a standard air mattress. Both of mine came from Walmart.com queen 69 dollars and twin 49 dollars. for a studio we haven't stayed in one in quite awhile I need my washer and dryer!
