is there really park-to-park transpo?

I've never really needed park-to-park transpo b/c we've always returned to our resort or driven. I need to go from AK to MGM... is there a direct bus and if so, where? near the resort buses? Also, I know that there's a boat from MGM to Epcot, but is there a bus as well? Thanks for the info.

I know there is a bus from AK to MGM; it is by the resort buses. Just look at the sign that indicates what stop is for what place and you'll find MGM.

I believe there is a bus from EPCOT to MGM. Same thing there. However, we've always taken the boat for that. It's about a 30 minute trip. I would think a bus would be faster. I think you can also walk from EPCOT to MGM.

There are not resort to resort buses, you have to go to the tranportation ctr or to DTD to switch buses.

Yes there are park to park buses. I am not sure what time they start running. We have always used them in the afternoon or evening.

Between Animal Kingdom and MGM/MGM and Animal Kingdom: Bus (see signage when approaching bus waiting area for specific location)
Between Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom/Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom: Bus (see signage when approaching bus waiting area for specific location)
Between Magic Kingdom and MGM/MGM and Magic Kingdom: Bus (see signage when approaching bus waiting area for specific location)
Between Epcot and MGM/MGM and Epcot: Boat between International Gateway and dock near MGM entrance OR Bus (see signage when approaching bus waiting area for specific location)
Between Epcot and Magic Kingdom/Magic Kingdom and Epcot: Monorail to TTC then monrail to destination park (or monorail/MK ferry combination; still need to connect at TTC)

Yes, but be aware that the park-to-park buses don't run as often as park-to-resort. We once waited well over an hour at Epcot for a bus to AK.

It might be quicker to take a Boardwalk bus and just walk the rest of the way.
(Or take the boat if you happen to arrive when it is there. The boats run on a pretty tight schedule, but it takes rather a while to do the entire Epcot to MGM trip because of stopping and docking 4 times.)

Another option is to take the AKL bus (seems like it runs every 5 minutes) and then the MGM bus from AKL. Depending on timing the direct MGM bus could be faster. We once waited over 30 minutes at AKL for an Epcot bus. Driver said they had loading problems, whatever that means.
