Is there public transportation to/from off property hotels?

We are staying off property and will have a car. In case someone wants to go back to the hotel but someone else wants to stay, is there public transportation to off property hotels? The motel is close--within a few miles.

I checked the motel's website and it just says it has public transportation but not where it goes. I checked the Disneyworld website and they don't say anything about public transportation.

You can catch the Orlando LYNX bus (public transit) at the TTC, but you would have to know the routes and where you are going etc. to see if that would work for you. Many off site hotels have shuttles to/from a park or two, at least a few times a day, if not more.

Disney does not provide transportation anywhere off-site except Magical Express to/from the airport - they want you to stay in the WDW bubble.

I agree with the above poster, Disney doesn't want you to leave their "magic" to go to another hotel or amusement property so they limit public transport as much as possible. Of course many of the off-site hotels in the area offer shuttle services (check to see if your hotel offers this) which would drop off and pick up at the TTC. As far as the Lynx bus - it only has limited stops. I use to ride this daily to work when i lived in Orlando and worked at a non disney hotel property. It will pick up from the TTC and get on I-4 , drive directly down I-4 toward SeaWorld & I-Drive. It will exit at SeaWorld and has a few stops on Sea Harbor drive passing Seaworld and then gets right back on I-4 and goes non-stop to the downtown orlando bus depot.I believe there is one more bus that services the TTC stop and it goes in the opposite direction I believe more towards Kissimmee. You'll have to check the Lynx schedule to verify the bus numbers and if either will work for you.

Motel 6 Suites on Irlo Bronson Hwy. I checked their website but they don't say anything about a shuttle.

I can't find a Motel 6 Suites.

If it's Studio 6 or Motel 6 Main Gate East, at 5731-5733 Irlo Bronson, then it is on the Lynx public bus system Link 56, which runs to the TTC every half hour. At the TTC, you can catch the WDW Monorail to the MK or Epcot, or the Disney Transport bus to Hollywood Studios or AK. There is no charge to use the WDW transportation system, but of course there is a fare for the Lynx. Here's a link where you find schedule and fare info: http://golynx.com/

If it's Motel 6 Main Gate West, at 7455 W Irlo Bronson Highway, unfortunately there is no direct bus service.

I can't find info on a shuttle service to any of the Motel 6 locations.
