Is there ever a time a signature meal is worth 2 credits on DDP?

I completely see where it is worth it for the DxDDP because you get an appetizer included which could be pricey. But does anyone use 2 TS credits on the regular dining plan for signatures?

Just got back and i can answer this question with a resounding YES :thumbsup2

We went to Narccossee's and here's what we had:

Filet Mignon with butter poached lobster. Came with creamed taters & rainbow carrots.

I had ice tea & he had whatever "white pop" they serve .. sprite 7-up??

I had the Almond Cheesecake & he had Creme Brulee

total bill was around $180 -ish which works out to around $45.00 per credit. Since the cost of DP is $41.00 per day i think we got a fair deal since that means our CS meal and our snacks were essentially "free" that day. Gotta take into account that we went during F & W and used most of those snack credits for things that run around $7.00.

So again i say, depending on what you order and which restaurant you go to, you can certainly get a big-bang for those credits :thumbsup2

California Grill, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Fulton's also have a few entrees and desserts that would get you to the right price point for this to be worth it.

Also, if you're going at Christmas, many of the dinner Candlelight Processional packages would be worth the 2TS credits needed.

If you go off-WDW to Universal or Busch in the middle of the trip then you will use less credits on those days, meaning you have extra credits to use on signature meals.

For example we went to Universal in the middle of our trip, ate lunch at Universal and ate dinner from the food court at our Disney resort when we got home. This left us with extra table service credits to put towards signature meals.

If we hadn't had those signature meals then we would of either wasted a table service or wasted a counter service credit.

I thought the DP was more like $60 per day, $41 is for the Quick service.

Ok, as my youngest would say "take me out back & shoot me" i made a mistake, sorry. But i just looked over my math and somehow i really botched it! each entree would have cost 72.00 .. i think i divided by 4 instead of 2!!! urgh, it's too late for my brain to make sense of my own hand-writing :rotfl2:
