Could we watch the light parade at 7:00 in the MK and have time to get to Epcot for Illuminations at 9:00 using Disney transportation? We are trying to get everything in during our stay and without dropping something, there is no way.

TIA

I've done it. Just get a good parade spot near the Main St. train station, and head out to the monorail right before the end of the parade. You likely won't get a prime spot for Illuminations, depending on the crowds, but you can get a good enough spot. It's hectic, but it is one of the memorable things we did that year because we took the chance and it worked so well.

Thanks zippeedee! I should have added to my original post that I would like to be breathing when I get to Epcot. I also wonder if one could take the bus to the Beach Club and enter through the back of Epcot by England, I am guessing that the walk would be about the same.

The other thing you can do is watch the parade in Frontierland, which is where it starts. Watch from around Pecos Bill, then you can cut through Adventureland to Main Street, then cut through the stores to get to the front of the park. This would save you another 10 minutes or so.

I agree it can be done. Find a place at the start of the parade, than when it end work your way to the exit of MK, while the rest of the people are still watching. Hit the Monorail and off to Epcot you go.
I think you will have plenty of time.
ENJOY
