I checked in the Newbie section and read some of Hydro Guy's tips but I'm trying to figure out how to merge all the info! Is there a cheat sheet type thing like easywdw has but for Disneyland?

Thanks--we have to go on a summer weekend so want to be uber prepared!

The order really depends on what you want to do and see. Best to have that together first. You can always use TouringPlans.com as well.

Like Amommy21 said, it all depends on your priorities, and who is in your party. For instance, when we don't have kids with us, DH and I will start with the E-ticket rides (namely, the mountains). But, if we have little ones with us, we head for Fantasyland to bust those out as soon as possible. It also depends on when you will be arriving (rope drop, or sleeping in?).

As pp have said, it depends on what you want to do and who your party consists of, and what day of the week, and how many days you will be there, and if you have MM. If you let us know that , we can help you. But no, unfotunately, there is no resource like easywdw for DL.

Thanks--I'm so used to WDW at Christmas time that the idea of knowing the exact order of each ride is just ingrained in my head!!! We have young teens (so would like to ride everything except the really young kid rides) and we'll be there all day on a Saturday in July with MM and a half day on Monday (no MM or EMH). We have been once before (though several years ago) and the 2 things we missed that we REALLY want to do are Matterhorn and the Submarine ride.

From what everyone has said here, I think we'll probably head to do those 2 and then the rest of the things in Fantasyland plus maybe Space Mountain (I need to make a real list of Fantasyland rides) during that first hour. I'm guessing that FP don't really start until the MM is over?

Then we're doing DCA on a Sunday without EMH and from posters here I've decided I think we'll get a RSR FP when we get there, ride that as single riders, do TSSM, and then try to get a Cali Screamin FP and then move on with our day.

I don't think we're going to add Park Hoppers but we may change our minds. I also think we're going to try to get a Fantasmic and/or World of Color FP bc I think I read those are not linked to ride FP anyway?

Thanks again for all of your help!!

Matterhorn has a single rider line, which might be worth looking into if you're willing to ride separately. Personally, I would probably try to do Submarines early because that line gets long and stays long because it's a very slow loader.

Correct, FP are not distributed until the park opens to everyone. Truthfully, I don't know that you'll be able to do Matterhorn, Subs, and all of FL in that first hour. For example, you opt to do Peter Pan, that will take half or more of the MM by itself.

Yes; you can get a WoC or F! FP without impacting your ability to get a FP for any of the attractions.

We like to head to the back of the park first, somewhere like BTMRR, and work our way forward. Most people start at the front and do just the opposite so we find we can hit the bigger rides first without lines.

Sorry, no Josh or easyWDW for Disneyland. Wouldn't that be nice!

I would hit Peter Pan first before the lines build. Even if you are some of the first people to the submarines, it's a slow loader, long ride, and slow unloader. It can take over most of that important first hour. Think about hitting several Fantasyland rides during EMH and getting in line for the subs the second half of that hour.
