Is there anyway to go to a beach with no car?

I know this may sound CRAZY but my dad is bugging me that while Im in Florida I HAVE to go to a beach...fair enough. But both my boyfriend and I are young (20 & 22) so we dont want to rent a car for a day and have to pay outragous insurance and what not.....

so I was wondering if there is anyway to get to a beach using public transportation or something...

There is certainly no easy way to do it without a car. Don't worry about what your dad says anyway. If you don't care about the beach, don't worry about going there. It'll still be there if you choose to go on another trip to Florida.

is it do-able though?! becasue IM pretty sure my BF really does want to go to the beach...so maybe we should try..if its even possible!

Anything is possible, but I think it's going to be pretty expensive no matter how you choose to go. I'd just rent the car. It's probably the least expensive option.

If you really WANT to go, I'd say you'll have to rent a car. You can do that for under $50 from Enterprise, even if you're under 25, as long as one of you is over 21.
