Is there anyway to download mp3s on itunes.....

Is there anyway to downloand mp3 on iTunes without a computer? Kinda like getting books on Kindle without a computer. I'm considering buying a laptop so that I can get songs "on the go" (I do not want a desktop) with my iPod but buying a laptop seems so ridiculous for this purpose. Anyone have ideas?

Secondly, does a netbook (small laptop) hold many mp3s without an external hardrive?

You can do it with the iPhone or, presumably, an iPod Touch that has WiFi capability. You connect to the iTunes store directly and download straight to the device.

Netbooks can hold a decent number of songs if they have a large enough internal hard drive. Prices are actually pretty reasonable on them right now, too, with everybody running specials and whatnot. I swear I get 2 emails a day from Tiger Direct and all of them have laptop and netbook specials in them.
