Is there anything that CANNOT buy purchased with Disney Dollars?

My hubby and I might try to get to Pleasure Island one night while my mom has the kiddos. Can disney dollars be used there? Can they be used at the Downtown Disney Stores? For instance the Lego Store?



Also, say we don't use all of our Dollars by the day we leave is there any place to change them back for Cash?

I checked into this as well, and I was told by people at the Disney Store and by people at Disney World that they are taken everywhere andfor anything. You can change them back at the hotels to cash and a lot of the gift shops will do it for you as well. Some people said that you need your original receipt to do that, but the last CM I spoke to at the POR Marina said njo most Cast Members would be happy to change them back for you. Better to be safe than sorry I guess. We bought some for our kids and will just use room charging privelages for everything else. I am sure our kids will find something to buy with the dollars we got them. We have also been giving them dollars for chores ect. - it adds up quick. Their last bdays and Christmas money was Disney Dollars and gift cards too.

I have used Disney dollars all over WDW including Downtown disney and have never had a problem

I also use the funny money at the Disney Outlet, the Disney Stores in Malls. It's a lot of fun. People always ask me where did I get the Disney Dollars. I guess you can say they are green with envy. It's always good to be in the "know".
