Is there anything like the WDW TLT dessert party in DL?

Hi!

My honeymoon trip is in October this year, and we're going to Disneyland instead of WDW! We really enjoyed the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party when we went, because we could relax and watch the fireworks. Is there anything in DL like this? Like a place to eat dinner and watch fireworks or World of Color without lining up and running to find a good spot to view?

Thanks for any help! :)

Yes. There are a few options, though only one (I think) includes food. You could do a VIP tour of DLR which, though pricey, would give you access to VIP viewing areas for parades and shows.

But the closest thing to the TT Dessert Party would be Fantasmic! Dessert Seating in Disneyland Park. See the Fantasmic! Superthread and Mary Jo's Premium Dessert Seating guide. It's basically a dessert box and beverages (coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks) you hold on your lap and reserved seating for Fantasmic! If you haven't been to DLR's version of Fantasmic!, since there's no other dedicated seating (i.e. no stadium seating, you just sit on the ground or stand along the Rivers of America), the dessert package is popular for special occasions.

There are two similar options that I know of at DLR. But please be aware that both of these options still involve lining up at some stage for optimum viewing.

In DL there is a F! dessert package. This is a seated VIP viewing area for F!, which comes with a dessert box for each person. You have to 'check in' for your seats before the show, and it is first come best dressed. Many people still line up for an hour or longer to check in to get the seats in the first row. Apparently if you get the back row (there are 3 rows), you are allowed to stand during the show. But it kind of defeats the purpose of having seating.

In DCA there is a WOC dining package. You can choose from several restaurants for this, and it gives you access to the VIP viewing section (you won't need to get a FP for WOC). Many people still line up for an hour or more to get into the VIP section, and there is no seating. A bad view from the VIP area is apparently no better than a bad view in any other area.

If you're interested in either of these options, I would go and check out the superthreads for WOC and F! They both have information on these packages, including the pros and cons.

Thank you both for the answers! They were very helpful. :)
