Is there anything like an "innocent" social media hangout?

Twitter (or X or whatever) is full of random rants of idiots. Reddit is helpless. News is depressing. Facebook is rife with damning images (and now tonnes of fake news reports about celebrities dying). Is there anything like an innocent hangout left? The DIS Community Board is the best I have found and love it for that.

Nothing is perfect. I find Facebook a bit better since your real identity is revealed. On the DIS some are hiding behind their Screen Name.
I have never run into anyone in person who knew me from the DIS, but I have with my Facebook posts. Some lady in the pool at the gym recognized me from Facebook Neighborhood Watch posts.

Bluesky isn't too bad, but as with many, it really depends on who you follow IF there isn't a bunch of unwanted suggestions on the social media accounts like X and Facebook do.

Also, ******* can be good if you have a niche topic that you want to discuss, it's like a private server for specific things if you can find a ******* channel you like.

I know what site you're referring to and I've gotten a warning from a mod for trying to post the name. That was what I was going to suggest too since you could make a server and weed out people that would cause trouble from joining.

0 clue why it's banned as it's a major platform for communicating with people.
