DH is a caramel FREAK. I mean FREAK. And for Vday I'd love to steer him towards wherever he could really indulge. Tried looking into gift baskets but the options were an apple (with 2 layers of chocolate and only one of caramel) and then the basic Ghiradelli squares.

Any tips would be appreciated. I can pack some of course but this would be far more fun! We are eating at Kona for dinner and while their desserts look fabulous, there is a shortage of caramel!

TIA

They make caramels that aren't covered in chocolate? Why? :rotfl2:

Seriously, I've never seen them anyplace at WDW. I'd suggest a couple of places to check though, at Epcot; Germany, Italy and the UK all have a candy section in one of their gift shops.

Try Goofy's Candy Co or the Candy Cauldron in DTD. I think I've seen carmels at both of those places. If they have it on apples, then I would think you could get it at those places.

I figured goofy's could be a backup as I know he can get a caramel apple there. Plain vanilla caramels are surprisingly hard to find, the good homemade kind of even the plain kraft ones unless it's halloween.

I might ship something....just in case I can't convince the gang to go to DTD for lunch that day but am going to try to work that in. Although I can only imagine how busy Goofy's will be on valentines...that's a little scary!

:)

I love a good caramel myself, but haven't noticed any while at WDW. You can get a very tasty caramel sundae, on soft serve ice cream, at Auntie Gravity's in the MK!
