My sister just decided she wants to "have breakfast at the castle" on our Florida trip at the end of August (we're going to stay at the beach). When we started planning this trip (2 months ago) she said she definately did not want to go to Disney (even tho it's less than 2 hours away). Now she has apparently changed her mind. I told her no way, but then decided to post here to see if you good people have any ideas. If it was just my sister, I wouldn't care, but my niece is 4 y.o. and a more avid princess freak than even my DD. Any suggestions?

The only thing I can suggest is to call each morning/afternoon and ask if there's been a cancellation.

I was lucky enough to get a cancellation last year...but it was 60 days out about 1 hour after 7:00a sold out time. Someone must have called back and canceled.

Good luck!

Definitely keep checking... I think it will be easier now to get any cancellations because they secure a credit card at the time of the call. Nobody wants to pay for something they won't be attending. I'm sure many people before that policy would just miss it without calling.

Thank you for the suggestions. I did call this morning and obviously they had nothing. The CM did not even want to check because she said "they always sell out" but based on your advice, I will try calling 2X day for cancellations. We'll see.

Keep calling! It's worked for me. GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks kdibattista, but we'll be in Florida 8/25-8/31. So I'm too late for that ressie. We can probably make it on any of those days as we have nothing planned except vegging on th beach. I'll keep an eye on the boards for someone else's cancellation tho.

Also try the Norway Princess Storybook Breakfast. I hear it is a great backup even though Cindy doesn't appear. We are doing both, but not until the first week in Sept, so I can't tell you from personal experience.

I agree with everyone who said to be persistent with calling.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

It's a longshot, but if you don't have one by the time you go, ask when you arrive anyways. I read somewhere about someone having to cancel one because their child was sick. So for whatever reason, keep asking because someone may bow out at the last minute.

Cindy's takes a $25 deposit for each PS.
The persom who makes the PS, if cancelling to get their
deposit back, must do so 24 hours before their PS date.

We were at WDW May - Memorial Day week. Nice large crowds.
We called on a Wed night around 7 pm and was able to
get a CINDY PS for 8 am THE NEXT MORNING, Thursday :)

Don't fret - there will most likely be a CINDY PS you can snag
one morning you are there. Some will cancel most likely
and want there $25 back.

Be ready with your credit card to snag the PS when you get it.

My DH actually came up with the idea to call the night before.
Go figure, the guy who hated WDW 3 years ago - and
now loves it ;)

A few people have posted that they had luck 7 days out and 2 days out, so definitely keep trying. Good luck!
