When I called she said I'd receive notice within 30 days - that will just not do! Can I ask that an email confirmation be sent sooner?

You can go to any old Target or Old Navy and have credit instantly - why do I have to wait 30 days for a Visa?

I do not know if this works but on the Disney World website there is an icon on the bottom that says apply and if approved you can use the card today. Not sure though if that means reservations made only through the Disney website. The "fine print" might tell.

This is what I just did. It appears the instant approval is only good for on-line purchases.
I called Chase direct to get the number and they said they couldn't access it :confused3 but they put a rush on my cards and they may get here tomorrow?

The agony is killing me!!!!!!!!!!

I got the standard 30 day response but I received my card in less than a week.

Yes!!!! Thank you - I just did it and it does work. After I applied and was approved online, I called 407-939-7675 and she was able to access the card and use it for my deposit. I got $250 off my 5 night reservation!

The website does make it look like you have to book online, but you don't have to. Call!

Were you still on the screen or is it tied to your user name?????? I wrote down the bank reference number but am no longer on that screen..........

I wasn't on that screen. I had gone to the "My Vacation" page and pulled up my reservation, thinking I might have to make the payment online. It must be tied to your user name because I did nothing - she accessed it using only my reservation.

OK, I called to at least get the POR discount for now (we'll decide about AKL later today or tomorrow) and the agent says she has no way to get at that credit card number

Punkins's Mom- how did they do it???????????

OK I applied on line via the link on the Disney website, and when i got approved it gave me a congrats message that said that im the meantime i could use my new account but had to be logged in to disney.

So, I called Disney at the number listed above by Punkins Mom (thanks by the way :thumbsup2 ) and set up the reservation and the very nice cm gave me the reservation number. I told her I had to pay via the website since I just got my card and she said no problem just make sure you make at least a $200 deposit today.

So I waited about 20 minutes for the reservation to upload to the Disney website and I went in and pulled up my ressie by conf number and phone number. It has a link right there to make a payment and since I had applied for the credit card via a link on their website low and behold they had my info in there allready because when I hit make payment they already had via Disney Credit Card checked as my method of payment. I hit apply payment or whatever the prompt was and boom it applied it to my new card. Hope this helps.

Also, once i hit the apply button the last time it didn't take me to a "receipt" of any kind which confused me for a min. It took me back to my vacation planning section. So I just pulled up the ressie again and it showed the deposit successfully applied.

OK, I checked my ressie on line and it shows my new POR quoted price less the $200 deposit (that I made on my other card when I first booked the package). I guess that means I am OK :confused3 I plan on double checking later today or tomorrow when we figure out for sure which hotel we are staying at (and once my card gets here). I certainly don't want this to fall apart between now and the trip! Thanks everyone!
