Is there any disadvantage to a 3 park unlimited ticket? (aka Yet Another Ticket Q!)

Like the title said, does anyone know if there is any disadvantage in purchasing a 3 park unlimited ticket vs, say, a standard 3 day park-to-park ticket? I can get the unlimited ticket for just a few dollars more per person through my work, and I'm thinking it might be useful in case we decide to go back to Universal at the end of our trip. (We're flying into and out of Orlando, spending 3 days there at the beginning, and then visiting relatives for a week.) Thanks for any advice!

I'm pretty sure that you can not upgrade that ticket. I did research and because DA wasn't going to be open at the end of June when we went I bought 4 day park to park tickets. At the end of our last day I went to Guest Services and upgraded them to AP (the lowest ones) and they actually owed us a $1.06 per ticket.

Okay, thanks! I don't think that there is any way that we will be upgrading them, so that is good to know.

I'm here with damo and we inquired at guest services and you can not upgrade a three park pass.
