Is there any Dis groups doing the 1/2 or full marathon in Jan?

I have started training for this but it appears I will have to travel solo to Disney. Is there any groups that are going that I might be able to hook up with??? My kids are in high school and won't be able to be off school then so looks like I am solo.

Hi Kim,

Yes, there will be a group going again this year! We had a nice size group that met for 2 functions last year during marathon weekend. One was on the Friday night at Trails End and the other was, I think, Monday morning at the Broadway Cafe. (I missed that one because I was already home to get the kids back into school.)

It was a great experience, we were able to meet up with each other at the starts, in the corrals and on the course! Some even ran/walked together for part or the entire race!

Come over to our training thread! We have some who are training for their first half, first full and some are going goofy!
