I've seen loads of posts over the years about tipping...and there's a subforum about ADR cancellations where people post what they cancel....

You're allowed to discuss tipping; they just want to restrict it to the one sticky in the restaurant forum. And what websites can you make ADRs at other than the Disney one?

OP I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. I've seen discussions about everything you listed. Like a PP said, there are established threads and sub forums for those topics. Generally speaking, all forums I've ever been a part of are this way (not just DIS). Don't just start threads willy nilly it gets too cumbersome. Use your search feature, find the discussion you are looking for. I almost guarantee it's on there.

Disney does not own this forum. On the two threads that got locked, the moderator explained why she did it; I don't know about the deleted thread though since I didn't see it.

The statement of ownership and forum rules can be found HERE. They were also linked on the sign up page when you registered.

If your thread was locked or deleted by a moderator, an explanation is likely in your private message folder. Log in then click on "User CP" in the toolbar across the top of the page, under the main header. Scroll down the left side menu to find your private messages.

TheDis is the largest and (mostly) the friendliest but if this is not for to you, there are other forums. Just do a Google or Bing search.
