Is there an age requirement on the Segways?

I'm pretty sure you have to be 16

I booked my Segway tour the other day and it was 16 years or over.

The others are right, there is an age requirement. Having done this tour 3 weeks ago, I believe it is a safety issue. You really need to be "big" enough to handle the Segway.
It was a blast, by the way!!!! We loved it.

I understand that Disney is very firm on the age requirement and will not bend. As others have said, it is likely a safety issue.
