Hi,

Is there always free dining offered in Aug, Sept, Oct, etc.? I noticed that the same offer happened last year at the same time. Or do they bounce this offer around? Just wondering for next years planning.

It has been offered lately but you can never be sure what WDW. It depends on bookings.

Don't plan a trip assuming you are going to get it. Plan what you can afford and if you get it great or if a trip depends on getting FD wait and see - but know you mihgt be disappointed.

This will be the 4th year in a row I have gone with free dining. I always plan my trip for what I can afford without a discount or free dining and hope to add it on if it becomes available. Just don't lock yourself in by booking airline tickets too early.

There is, obvioulsy, a pattern, but things do change. For example, for the last number of years they offered free dining (for dates later in the fall) in August, but this year they offered it in July. They could also stop offering these types of discounts at any time -- Disney seems to bemoan the fact that people have come to count on the discounts, and they even announced a number of months ago they were going to stop offering so many discounts. But they've created this monster, and continue to feed it.
