Is there a way to tell if a ticket has been used?

A while back, I purchased two children's 2-day tickets. It's a long story but I ended up buying APs and just held onto the other two thinking I'd use them eventually. They were e-tickets by the way. I know I used one of them but I can't remember if I used the other one. I'd like to gift one to a friend for her trip coming up. I pulled the E-tickets I got sent to my email and now I don't know which was used or if I did end up using both! Is there a way to tell besides standing at the turnstiles to have them scanned. I'd give her both copies just in case but I'd be mortified if neither worked! Even though I'm almost 99% sure I didn't use the other one...

If I were your friend, I would appreciate your honesty and good intentions. It would be a bonus if the ticket worked, and no sweat off my brow if it didn't. It's the thought that counts!

(I have no idea how one can tell if a ticket has been used.)

That's really sweet of you! Can I be your friend? :p

If you call Disney Guest Services, I'm sure they would be able to see from the bar code whether they had been used or not.

I have called guest relations about a possibly used ticket. Just read the barcode numbers to them and they can check!

That's SO nice of you!! I hope you get it squared away!

Download the Disneyland App.

Scan each barcode into the app. The ticket that has been used will comeback as invalid when scanned.

Guest Relations most likely will not tell you if a ticket has been used or how many days are left on a ticket over the phone to prevent fraud.

If I put it in my app, how do I give it her?

I would give her both tickets, with instructions for her to put them into her app. Or, like they said, just call guest services and I'm sure they'd be happy to check them for you! How nice of you!

I had a similar question and called...I was told they can only check at the ticket window, they wouldn't tell me over the phone. It was strange because the ticket used to appear on my app (I bought it in Feb and saw it on my app when I checked in Apr). Then I sort of forgot about it until we went last week and I noticed it was no longer on the app. I had bought it for a friend, but then went with family in June and was 99.9% sure I hadn't used it on the family trip. But, the fact that it wasn't in my app was throwing me off. It had not been used...so no idea why it wasn't in the app any more.
