Is there a way to download the show from the site and put it on your ipod?

Nevermind, I figured it out. I guess I should have tried a few more things before posting ;)

Is it possible to download directly from the site and play on the Iphone?
The browser doesn't properly support the listen now page and just shows an object where the player is. Hopefully this will be sorted in the v3.0 iPhone software release...

The "listen now page" is a flash-page. I know this is not (yet) supported for the iPhone browser and I'm sorry to say that I also know this will not be fixed in the 3.0 software fix.
Just to let you know ;)

Thanks for the update Emiel. I thought this might be the case.
Apple can handle all this gadgetry but not flash? There must have been a disagreement or something - I am surprised by that.
There's probably 3rd party software out there if you have jailbroken your Iphone...not something I have considered (YET)...

Anyone can download the mp3 of the show using the RSS feed. Just put http://www.wdwinfo.com/podcast/unplugged.xml into any RSS enabled browser (Firefox, IR 7 and 8, Safari) and you will see all of the shows on the feed. The newest show is on top. Right click the MP3 file and select save as... and you have the MP3 which you can import to any MP3 player.

Works on the iPhone too.

You used to be able to listen on the old podcast mainpage through the iPhone too with no download, but not any more

:goodvibes

With the last system upgrade once you subscribe to a podcast in itunes and sync to your unit then under the podcast there is an option to "get latest podcast" option. It will be download directly to the phone or itouch.

I click on the Itunes app, then search for "DIS". That gives the option of downloading directly to the phone. I downloaded this weeks show in about 30 seconds via wi fi. I hope this helps.

Ignore what I said earlier, you CAN still listen to the show "streaming" from the podcast main page on your iPhone, you just don't click listen now.

Just click on one of these buttons. If you've jailbroken your iPhone and have dTunes and the safari downloader you can also download it over 3g, but streaming works pretty well :)

Cheers for the tip Luke - that worked a treat! :thumbsup2
Good to know there is another way if it makes it onto the site before Itunes.

Glad to help out, I used it all the time before mobile iTunes included podcasts :)
