Meats are not Publix strong point IMO. My experience with both companies in multiple locations suggests that's one area where WD is better. Albertson's better still but not as close or convenient.

Yes, before WD left Texas, they were very well known for their meats. We love our BBQ in Tx. We had WD not a mile from our house. It was replaced with a Neighborhood Walmart
Won't set foot in there.

We also like Albertsons but the location is the issue for us also.
