Is there a specific time set for feeding the dolphins at Sea World?

We will be leaving for Orlando in a few days. I really would like our kids to get an opportunity to feed a dolphin and get up close. Does anyone know what time they offer this? Is it only a few times a day? And how early should we get there? We only have one day at Sea World b/c we are doing the Hero's Salute for DH who is in the Navy. So, I don't want to miss this b/c we won't be able to come back on another day.

I haven't been to the one in Orlando, but......

When we go to SeaWorld in San Antonio, we get there at opening and go immediately to the Dolphins. Get there as soon as you can. Once the dolphins have had enough food, they won't let you feed them any more. We have been at different times of day and not been allowed to feed them. Our "1st thing to do" strategy works.

We were just there and did the 8 hour VIP tour. The tour was great and will do it again someday. Feeding the dolphins, get there when they open because when there full they stop feeding them unless you’re on a tour. We were on the first tour of the day and we got to feed them fist. It was great fun.

Here are some pictures of us on the tour feeding the dolphins. http://www.randyalberts.com/gallery/SeaWorldVIPTour?page=2

:goodvibes Thanks for the quick response. I love all the pictures too. We will be sure to go straight to the dolphins first thing in the morning.

At SeaWorld in Orlando, they have several times for feeding the dolphins throughout the day. At each feeding time, they only sell a set numbers of trays of fish. Once they're gone for that feeding, they're gone. This does give you an opportunity to feed the dolphins even if you get there later in the day.

From the SeaWorld website: "At Dolphin Cove, park guests can feed the dolphins during designated times throughout the day."

I don't recall the exact times, but there are generally 3-4 times per day. Just a hint, if you want to be sure to get an opportunity to feed, get there and get in line to buy fish about 30 minutes before feeding time.
