We are making our first trip to Disney next week. It is very last minute and I have a few questions that I can't seem to find the answers.
Are you definitely allowed to take food & water into the parks? I have read posts about food & water but I have had a number of people tell me they didn't think it was allowed.
Do they have family restrooms? The first 3 days my husband will be with us but after that it will just be me and my 3 children. I can't allow my 11 yr old son to go into the men's restroom alone. (By the way, he's about the size of an 8yr old, he's very small for his age.)
If they don't have family restrooms will I have a problem with taking him with me into the women's restroom?

Welcome to the DIS. I'm new too. To answer your question though, we've never had a problem taking food and snacks into the parks. I carry a small backpack with a couple bottles of water (1 for hubby) some snacks, the single drink mixes (to cover the bad taste of the WDW water when we refill our water bottles) and it's never been a problem. Security checks it upon entering the park and let's me right through. Enjoy the Boards - they seem to get addictive - more so after starting to post, even though I have lurked for years.
