Ugh, Star Wars Holiday Special? Some things are meant to stay buried. In my mind, Bea Arthur would never run a cantina on Tattoine, and I was rooting against Chewbacca's little upstart son. I think its safe to get that wookie a comb for Christmas, cause he ain't got one.

There are a lot of made for TV movies that I wish were on DVD. There are a few tv shows that I wish were on DVD like The Wonder Years and Cold Case but music copyrights are the main reason they haven't been released. I would love if Journeyman was on DVD.

I don't know if they have since done it, need to check. The first three Star Wars movies in original format. I know they were released that way on VHS and laserdisc but unable to get them two years ago, in unedited format.

Oh this was my suggestion too!!!! I loved loved loved this movie as a kid...scary and a mystery, I was in heaven.


And China Beach. I'm sure it's the music rights that prevent, but such a great show.

Oh my god. I forgot all about Electric Grandmother. That movie was awesome.

Yep. I have a set of them. Each movie is two discs - one disc of the re-released version, with CGI and Greedo shooting first. The other one is the original theatrical release.

And yes, the Star Wars Holiday special is terrible. So what? There are plenty of other terrible movies on DVD - Plan 9 From Outer Space, Ishtar, Titanic, Waterworld, Twilight, Battlefield Earth, Gigli - the list goes on and on. Lucas should not be able to hide his shame either.

As far as TV series go, I would LOVE all of the seasons of The Torklesons on dvd and the show Brooklyn Bridge.

As for a movie it would be Song of the South. It was my Dad's favorite and I had always hopped Disney would release it. Now that he is gone I would just love to see what he loved about it.

As for a tv show I wish they would release the rest of American Dreams on DVD. I have the 1st season and would love to see the rest.

Chris Isaak had a show on Showtime that hasn't yet been released on DVD. I heard that it was because he always had a musical guest and getting releases from everyone would be tough to get.
