I'm wondering if there is a movie theater in WDW that plays shows like Toy Story, Monsters Inc, or Nemo? I found info on the AMC Pleasure Island theater, but it looks like they just play the current shows. Any ideas? Thanks!

There is a nightly campfire at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. It starts off with you sitting around a fire, roasting marshmallows and making smores. Then Chip and Dale come along to join in on the fun. They will sign autographs, pose for pictures, etc. Then you go to this huge screen where they will show a Disney movie. Here is the May movie schedule. I'll try and find a picture of the screen for you. It is a lot of fun!! (FT. Wilderness is just a boat ride away from Magic Kingdom)

I believe the only theatres now on property are the AMC in Pleasure Island/DTD area. Many, many moons ago, the Contemporary Resort use to have a small theater in the back of the game room that used to show Disney movies, but that was 25 some years ago. The only other Disney shows I've seen have been on the lobby TV at the different resorts.

YES! This would be perfect! Is there a separate admission for all of this? We're staying onsite at Caribbean Beach and the Polynesian. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It is absoloutly FREE!!!!!!!! They do sell a smore kit so you can roast marshmallows (around $10) but you can bring your own stuff!!! It takes place every night. Go to http://allearsnet.com/acc/ftw6.jpg to see a picture of the screen. It generally begins around 7 p.m. during the fall/winter season and 8 p.m. after the time changes in April through the summer. The campfire/singalong part of the program is about 40 minutes long and then they take you to the theatre shown in the picture (go to the link in this post). If you need anything else, just post your question!!!

Whoa, that takes me back. That's when the arcade was just a giant cement room.
