Someone just created the March thread today so it's safe to say May has likely not been created yet. Still you can certainly post any savings you have found. That information is also welcomed on the Budget forum as well.

Alamo rental car prices are swinging all over the place for May. Literally they change every time I check them. With our Costco discount we got a full size SUV for 204$ for the third week in May for 6 days! It was cheaper than a mini van but the day before I had that booked for 208$. Something I noticed was changing airports makes a lot difference. We are flying into SNA and out of LAX. If we flew in and out of SNA it would have been $498. So if you haven't booked airfare it pays to check both airlines. Our trip is split between those airports because we couldn't get decent flight times out of SNA back to Denver. If you go Costco travel and then to the rental cars you can get a quote without a membership. They actually check for all discounts, then give you the options. Not all of the rates have to have a costco membership.
