Is there a map of the parking lots with the AAA Diamond lots highlighted?

I just found out my bestie will be joining us for part of our Disney trip in January, and her parents were able to get one of the AAA diamond passes when they booked their trip :cool1:

I've done a search of the boards and read descriptions of the lots, but I was wondering if Robo had made a map of the parking lots with the AAA areas highlighted.

I believe he has. Do you think that a PM to him would help? In the meantime, you might be interested to know that the AAA diamond lots are usually filled early in the day.

We're rope drop to close people, so getting there early wouldn't be a problem. It's that long walk at the end of the night, or the madness of waiting for the trams with the rest of America, most of Brazil, and half of Europe that kills us :rotfl2:

Just so you know the AAA parking spots at Epcot and AK are good (though the Epcot ones are shared with TiWL)

But the spots at MK and DHS pro ably aren't worth it if you are arriving early.

I'm going to move this to our transportation board.

We used our diamond pass last June and never had any trouble with parking. We actually found less traffic and many parking spaces to choose from. The AA Diamond Pass converted us from die-hard bus folks, to drivers to each park!

How do you get the Diamond Pass, do you buy your tickets through AAA and they give it to you?

A few years ago, I just bought a single 7 day ticket thru AAA for one member of our party and they graciously offered me the Diamond parking pass. If you try to use it during some special events, you may not be accommodated. That happened to us at AK and EP. All In all, it's easy to find the spots----just follow the lines to the handicapped area and the Diamond spots will be close by.:hippie:

If I am not mistaken aren't the Diamond lots behind the accessible parking lots? The best bet is to ask a CM at the Toll (Parking Tolls) booths when you drive into the parking lots. The diamond lots are limited in size so like the Handicap Lots they fill up fast.

Some clubs will only give it to you if you book a package with them. Some will give to you if youre a member and you just ask for it. Check with yor club for their policy.

Yes I believe the spots are behind the accessible parking

For the pp who asked how you get the pass. Some office will give them out if you ask and some will give them if you buy a ticket. Our local offices, all of them, will only give it out when you book a package through AAA. As for the parking areas at the parks, we have only used it at AK. There you park right next to the handicap parking. The attendant at the park entrance will tell you which line to follow and then when you get closer there will be an attendant that checks your pass and will tell you where to park. We have never had a problem getting a spot at AK. The only park that I see it not being any advantage at is MK since you still need to take the monorail or ferry. We have ours in hand for our Aug. trip and will use it again for AK

I guess I'm not sure where the accessible lots are, either.

I will give this a shot. We have used the AAA parking pass the last few trips and will again this year. I have used it at all 4 parks.

When you pay for parking you ask the person in the booth where the AAA lots are. You follow the line painted on the pavement ( i think its red dont remember) all the way to the front of the parking lots. You show the parking person there your AAA pass and you park right next to the Handicap spots. Its worth the weight in gold to me after a long day I do not want to mess with strollers and busses etc. I have only had one occasion when they said it was full and the CM didnt want to mess with me and told me it was full but it wasnt so i back tracked and got back into the AAA lot.

Hope you have a great trip.
