Is There A List Of Words On The DIS Boards That Cannot Be Used?

I'm wondering why when I type in the limousine company I used to use instead of the name it comes up with ********.

I'm confused . . .?

I believe that particular towncar company made some sort of 'Dis gaffe' so to speak. Some issue with their business dealings. So, they are no longer a sponser, and we are not allowed (able) to actually type their name.

I went back to read my old trip reports and everytime that company came up it was blocked . . .I thought I lost my mind or something . . .

I know *** words are usually bleeped out, like DIS'*** (aka DISing). But I saw some cussing on the boards the other day that wasn't blocked.

I was remarking on someone getting a PS and sent a post like happy PS *** and it blocked that out...just like it did this time...
At first I couldn't understand why? (so I just posted have a great time making your PS)

There is no published list of unacceptable words for the site.

If you try to post something on the list, it will show up as astericks (**). Trying to bypass the filter by using spaces or supplying *'s along with other letters is not allowed and can result in the loss of posting privileges.

If your post comes out with a bunch of *'s- there will be no problem since the filter has been allowed to do it's job.

If you have any doubt whether a word is on the list- just pick another word!

I'm so curious now to find out which limo company??? Was it Atlantis Limo? Oh...I guess if the name is "starred" out, then I'll know it was "that" company!! Lets see....

We had rented a fridge from them once & it was a great experience. Unfortunately, they can no longer rent fridges out to WDW guests. It's unfortunate for us since it was less expensive for a larger fridge!!
