I am sure someone on here has started a list of suggestions to pack for Disney. I know the usual, but just some tips to make Disney a little better and more affordable. I already have my ponchos and autograph books.
Thanks, Elizabeth

I am going to move this to our Disney Tips board. It is probably the best place to find someone that has something like this.

Some of the unique things on my list that I bring and use every trip are :

1)Handsoap for the room
2)Over the door shoe holder - I hang it up and put my H&B stuff in it
3)Pop-up Hamper
4)Ear Plugs
5)Night Light
6)Super Glue
7)Sharpie
8)Disney Tattoos - I get them online and the kids get a new one each day
9)Disney Light-Chasers from previous trips(the kids like to have one for the parades but they do not really change from year to year so I just keep bring ours back)
10)Batteries
11)Mini Fans
12)Drink lids - got this tip from this board - we bring the disposible drink lids you get on your drinks at fast food place. When the kids get ice cream we put the stick through the lid and it keeps the ice cream from melting all over their hands.
13)Identification Bracelet - we ordered these online. They are the rubber bracelets that people always wear with special saying on them. Ours have both my husband and my cell numbers on them. The kids know to show a park employee the bracelet if they get lost.

From experience I would suggest:
Safety pins
Sewing kit
Eye glass repair kit-for anyone who wears glasses
Small flashlight for reading maps in the dark parks

Extra batteries
Cell phone charger

I've used a version of this list for years. The great thing is that you can customize it for your families particular needs.

I have a different version for different trips, ie: WDW, winter Caribbean trips, Cruises, trips to Europe, trips by car vs trips by plane.

Hope this helps.

One thing I'd recommend is one of the new Brita filtering water bottles. They're about $10 each, and work great makig the icky-tasting Florida water taste better.

We are taking clothes pins and a few hangers to hang swimsuits on to dry. I saved the packing list and look forward to making sure my packing list matches up. :)
