Is there a hotel by the convention center that has a shuttle to DL?

DH may be attending the 2012 CDA convention at the Anaheim Convention center. I think, for efficiency, we will probably stay close to the convention center and I'd take a shuttle to DL (I've never done a solo trip, I'm excited!!).

Our other option would be to stay close to DL and have him take a shuttle, but I'm not sure what our options are...

Any suggestions? His employer will be paying for the hotel, so price isn't an issue.

The Candy Cane Inn is across the street from the ACC, they have a shuttle which runs every 30 minutes, and they are about a 10 minute walk to the DLR gates.

The Anaheim Hilton as well. We stayed there last August. Nice place. Also, if you are a coffee drinker, there is a Starbucks inside.

Sheraton Park next door to the convention center and walkable to DL.

Walk across Harbor to the Toy Story lot and take DL's shuttle to the front gate.

I agree with HG.

If i was attending a show at the convention center & Mrs. Hound was wanting to visit DLR solo at various times of the day, I also would do the CCI. A very short walk for me (to the ACC) & a DEDICATED shuttle from the CCI to the Harbor drop off for her.

Plus, it's a 9-10 min. walk from the CCI (up Harbor & hang a left to the security tents) to the turnstiles (if i or she wanted to walk). No walking thru parking lots, & no having to take the ART bus.

Also it's a cute, kind of "boutique" motel. Very nice for a couple....or a small family of 3 or 4. I would read Pink Budgie's review of the CCI. 4-5 pages of detailed info, comments & pictures.

If you're a "big hotel" girl, go with the Hilton or Sheraton. If you're more of a "boutique B&B (motel) typegirl, go with the CCI. Either way have a great visit at Walt's Park.

He would have to walk. About 3/4 of a mile I believe.

We actually discussed this...but I'm not sure I want him walking to/from several times a day...we'll see. LOL!
