Is there a 'home cookin' "50's PT" type place in MK?

I really liked the food at 50's when we were there our last visit. We, like other I assume, seem to find ourselves in the MK more often than the others and would like something sit down, but not like Crystal Palace. Make sense?

I'd try Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. I had awesome potroast there, my mom had the lamb stew, DH had the turkey dinner and dad had the sandwich/club thing. We all loved our meals! They were delicious. We also had the tavern cheese for an appetizer and that was really good as well.

The closest to "home cooking" that I can think of is Liberty Tree Tavern---it is a set menu served family style---mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, turkey roast beef----check out the menu at Allears.net.

We really liked the food and it is an all you can eat. It is no longer a character meal.

All you can eat Family Style - Tossed mixed Greens, Roasted Turkey Breast, Carved Beef and Smoked Ham with Mashed Potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb bread stuffing and Mac and cheese. Apple crisp with Ice cream

Thanks for the info... Sounds like a good lunch place for us. Dinner looks obviously more expensive and we have those planned out usually for places like O'hana, Boma, Crystal Palace and such. Just looking for something different besides the hamburger, hot dog, chicken fingers, and PB&J at the counter places. Thanks again,

I like Tony's. It is an Italian sit down restaurant, not a buffet. Love their food and have always had such warm and friendly service.
